GIRLS' SPRING/Summer HOCKEY PROGRAM
Become a Better Athlete… a Better Player… a Better Person
ABOUT OUR PROGRAM: The IRONBOUND spring program is intended to help develop female hockey players in the tri-state area. Our focus will be on individual skills development, skating development and hockey awareness. Each individual player will work outside their comfort zone in a fun, high tempo, challenging environment. We will teach by using positive re-enforcement to instill confidence in our players. Our goal is to make each of our players excel at the hockey fundamentals so that they can compete at the highest levels. Our full time professional coaching staff consists of former NCAA players, professional players and national team players.
Schedule: The spring/summer schedule will consist of 11 ice practice sessions and 2 tournaments. Practices are at RWJ Barnabas Health Hockey House in Newark, NJ on Sunday Nights and at Protec Ponds, in Somerset, NJ on Wednesday nights based on age.
Session Time and Locations:
8U & 10u players: Wednesdays at Protec Ponds - Time (TBD)
12U &14U players: Sundays 5:30 – 6:45 pm at RWJ Barnabas Health Hockey House-May 6 – August 12th (no sessions on 5/27, 6/24, 7/8 & 7/29)
16U & 19U players: Sundays 7:00 – 8:15 pm at RWJ Barnabas Health Hockey House- May 6 – August 12th (no sessions on 5/27, 6/24, 7/8 & 7/29)
Tournament Schedule:
June 15-17: 10u/12u/14u VT Stars Summer Classic in Stowe/Waterbury, VT
July 27-29: 12u/14u/16u Beantown Classic in Marlboro, MA
July 20 – 22: 19U Beantown Classic in Marlboro, MA
August (TBD): 16U / 19U MidFairfield Stars Summer Invitational in Chelsea Piers, CT
July 6–8: 8U / 10U Guns–N–Rosies Summer Tournament in Newark, NJ
Goalie Training & Fee: Protec Ponds Wednesdays Time (TBD)
Player Fees:
Option 1 - $425 – Practices only for those who don’t want to or cannot commit to the full tournament schedule. This option includes the 11 practices.
Option 2 - $775 – Total training package of two tournaments and practices.
